Over the past few weeks, I've been on a journey to reorganize my life, gradually building my way up one step at a time.

I'm thrilled to share a positive milestone: we received our first paycheck from the Amazon Affiliates Program, thanks to our consistent blogging and previous YouTube videos. While it's not a massive amount, it's incredibly inspiring to see that our content is engaging with readers and viewers. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to our audience; your support means everything to us. This experience has reaffirmed my commitment to this endeavor for the long haul.

A Creative Spark from an Unexpected Source

Earlier this week, my daughter wanted to buy some dinosaur toys. What she chose was quite surprising: a coloring dinosaur toy. It's a base white dinosaur with acrylic paints and a brush, allowing her to customize it to her heart's content. When we got home, she was excited and eager to start painting. She joyfully mixed and mashed every available color onto the dinosaur, proud of her creation. Watching her enthusiasm and happiness as she painted was truly inspiring.

That moment reminded me of the importance of happiness in fostering creativity. Seeing my daughter so engrossed and delighted in her creative process fired me up. It made me realize that joy is a crucial ingredient in any creative work, whether it's a hobby or a professional endeavor.

This revelation had an immediate impact on me. I approached my comic pages with renewed love and glee, and it worked wonders. I managed to pencil two pages that day without feeling tired. It was uplifting and refreshing, reminiscent of the passion I had for drawing comics as a hobby years ago.

Looking Ahead

With my mindset ready for the next chapter, I'm now working on samples for big publishers. I have a deadline in ten days, and I'm fired up. My childhood inspirations like Spider-Man, Spawn, Batman, Aliens, and Predator movies are fueling my creative energy.

As I mentioned in a previous post, changing our mindset and habits is crucial to achieving our goals. Even if I don't get a positive outcome from the Supermanila convention portfolio review, I know there will be other opportunities as long as I maintain my happiness and passion for creative endeavors.
